Game masters collect a lot: bundle downloads, crowdfunding rewards, scanned handouts and books bought on a dozen sites, spread over folders and cloud drives. Bibliotaph is for the moment you think "I own something for this, but where?"
What it's built on
- Find useful content quickly. Browsing, searching and opening the right page come first.
- Leave the files where they are. Bibliotaph reads files and never renames, moves, edits or deletes them.
- Automate routine cataloging. You review the exceptions, not every book.
- Show the evidence. Suggested, confirmed and unknown values look different, and every suggestion says where it came from.
- Preserve your work. Reading a book again never erases your corrections, notes, collections or binders.
- Make partial success useful. A book is searchable as soon as its text is in.
Who makes it
Bibliotaph is made by munkycdev, an independent software developer in the USA. It started as a Windows app for one large, mixed library across many game systems and editions, and grew a web version for libraries kept in cloud storage.
Free software
Bibliotaph is free software under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later. The source code, the issue tracker and every release are on GitHub. The licences page lists the components it is built with and their licences.
There are no ads and no tracking, and nothing about you or your library is sold. The privacy policy says exactly what the web version keeps.

Bibliotaph isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any publisher or online store it works with, such as Wizards of the Coast, D&D Beyond, Demiplane, Humble Bundle or DriveThruRPG. Game systems, publishers and book titles are trademarks of their owners.
