GUIDE

Your library in numbers

Summary, in the sidebar under Needs review, is your library by the numbers: how much you have, where it came from, what it is and what you've done with it. Home links to it too, under the welcome, beside your library's size. It's the same page on bibliotaph.online, where a folder is named as it is in your storage.

Every figure on the page opens the Library at the books it counts. Click a game system and the Library opens with that system picked; click the number still waiting their turn and it opens at the books you haven't opened yet. Point at a bar for its full count. The page fills in as Bibliotaph reads your books, and keeps up while it does.

The hoard

The headline is how many books, pages and gigabytes you have, and how long reading every page would take at a page a minute. The tiles under it count adventures (and those marked inside other books), e-books, packs, the duplicates Bibliotaph found, and the books you own with no file.

A book is counted as the Library shows it: a pack counts once, a book found twice counts once (its second copy counts as a duplicate), and a book owned in print or online counts as a book. Its pages count once, whatever its copies.

Where it came from

  • Folders and drives: each library folder, with its books and their size. A folder that can't be reached, such as an unplugged drive, says so; its books stay searchable. Manage folders opens Settings.
  • Online libraries and stores: the places you own books online and in print (Also own) and where you got them (Get it from), with how many bought from stores are on your drive and how many are still waiting to be downloaded. Import more opens Settings › Online libraries.

What it is

Your game systems, types and settings, most first, with the rest folded into one line. Each bar has two shades: the dark part is what you've confirmed, the lighter part is suggestions not yet reviewed, so you can see how much of your catalogue is settled. Not cataloged yet is the books with no system so far.

By character level counts every book and adventure that covers each level from 1 to 20, so a level 1–3 adventure counts at levels 1, 2 and 3. Levels unknown opens the adventures nobody has given levels yet. Published, by decade shows when your books came out, with any gap left as a gap.

What you've done with it

How many books you've opened, as a share of them all, and your favorites, notes, collections, binders, saved searches and the books an AI has read. The line under them says how far Bibliotaph has got reading your books' text, and how many scanned pages it has recognised.

Growth since your first book is how many books you had at the end of each month, from the month your first one arrived; point at it to read any month. Under it is the day the most books arrived at once.

The page counts what's in your library and changes nothing. On the search box, opened:no finds the books you haven't opened yet, the same as the page's link; see Searching.
